Center for Polish-Slovak Cooperation

The Center for Polish-Slovak Cooperation in Nowy Targ

In 2004, the Center for Polish-Slovak Cooperation was opened in Nowy Targ. Its creation was supported financially by the European Union and the Małopolska Province Contract. The Center, located in a historic building on Nowy Targ's market square, has a gallery, modern conference room for 120 people, audio-visual equipment and facilities for simultaneous translation. It has become a center of culture, information and promotion of the Euroregion. The creation of a Slovakian Library and  Polish-Slovak Chamber of Commerce is being planned. A similar Slovak-Polish Meeting Center was built in Kežmarok in Slovakia.
